- A structured record of assumptions, open questions and research directions discussed.
- A prioritised set of proposed follow-up investigations.
Proposed handover: workshop slides and a written follow-up note. Delivery mode, duration and participants are agreed first.
Where the scope stops
A workshop does not guarantee patentability, standards adoption or a completed invention. No unpublished research should be shared before confidentiality is agreed.
Review and handover
Agree the source set and acceptance criteria first. The handover should identify assumptions and unresolved points, and distinguish findings from recommendations. Any revisions, walkthrough or follow-on work are specified in the proposal.
